                Hello to my friends

it seems weird how fast time flys past, first thing I know  -- I'll be old..... and I still need to do a lot of things before that!!  so ------- guess I'll stay up late!!!   -- trying to make sure life doesnt pass me by while I'm not watching.........  sometimes I really think it would be good to STOP and take more time to enjoy our families, and all the beauties of nature, -- smell the flowers, the rain, the ocean breeze, -- if you can get there!!

this week looks busy to me,  we are leaving for Fla. on thursday, and I can hardly wait!! its been a couple of years since we've gone down there, and I really miss it.  we used to go every year for a couple of weeks. I really like to go fishing while we're there,  but this time will be too short -- I'm afraid.     we are taking in a S.L.M. board meeting, the Haiti auction,  AND visiting with our dear friends, Mel and Ann Mast.  we havent seen much of them the last couple of years either and I'm looking forward to a nice and cosy chat with my friend!!!       when we get back we will have a friend from Romania coming to stay with us for 2 months. her name is Elvira, and she's a Doctor,  she wants to find some work while she's here, to help  pay her trip, and also she needs a new car, she goes to the villages to the old people that cant get out, so she has to have a car.  she has a real ministry among these people, they are so poor and cant pay, except some times they will give her eggs, or a chicken, or some thing from the garden.  when we were over there, I went with her sometimes, it was very interesting to me to get into these homes,  it was shocking to see how these people manage on practically nothing,  only the bare esentials,  and yet they are so thankful for what they have, AND SO GIVING.. it was an eye opener to me, to see how blest we are,  we have WAY too much..........  well  --  ---  anyways  -----  we're hoping to find some work for her.   it will be nice to have her here.

         so long for now                                                 molly

Well, we've come to the last day of 2006........ its hard to believe that another year is gone, and as I think back, its been a good year !!! we spent half of it in Romania, and the last half at home, its good to be home again,  but I would'nt trade that experience for anything.  I dearly loved it over there, working with those dear people, In fact one of the girls we worked with, will be visiting our home next week. I can hardly wait to see her!! they are such loving and sweet natured people.   its comfortable to be home again, and I really have gotten into the culture again!  I really do love to be with my girls and grandchildren again. we have such good times together, I thank God for our girls and their husbands and children. God has blessed me far more than I deserve.  I'm thankful!

this eve. our whole church {almost} came to our house for 'new years eve'  I made soup and corn bread, and they all brought salad or dessert. after supper  we sat in the living room and sang, and talked, and just had a really good time of fellowship,  -- we could hear the rain just pouring down at times. I LOVE RAIN !!!!    our group is mostly older people, and not very many in number, but we do have a good bunch of oldies. just a good group.

well the rain is still coming down.......  a wonderful way for God to bring in the new year, -- HEY I just heard some firecrackers!!!!!!     O.K. hope this will be a great year for all of you out there that read this!  Molly

today we had communion,  then we were invited away for lunch, which was nice!  its  kinda nice to not have to think about food for the day.. altho I do love to have the children and grandchildren come home for sunday dinner! there's just somthing comforting about then coming on sundays!!    this eve. we went to the Crossroads church to  help celebrate the graduation of Seth,  plus 3 others. it was a good evening.  I actually got to see my cousin Enos Troyer, and his wife, who I haven't seen for a long time. --Seth's grandparents --

Well tomorrow is the day I've been waiting for !!

we are heading out for the beach!!   our family has a house at Fripp Island for a week. I really am looking forward to smelling the fresh salt air, walking the beach, and relaxing!!  my grandson said he doesn't want to miss one hour of it.{my thoughts exactly} so some of us are heading out on the first load, and others are coming later, but will all end up at the same place sooner or later!!   see ya later --- -
